My son was very anxious about joining a new group. He's not had much socialising since we took him out of school 1 year ago. However as soon as we arrived at Roots to the Future he was made to feel very welcome. He has wanted to try boxing for a long time but was worried he wouldn't fit in at a club. Yesterday he had his first boxing session at Roots to the Future and absolutely loved it. He said he felt encouraged, included and safe. He left with a huge smile and is heading back next week. He's also looking forward to maybe trying the other activities they provide once his confidence grows. Thank you to the friendly team for making my boy feel so welcome and giving him a huge boost 🙂
